- Assessing needs, setting priorities, planning, allocating resources, and managing the provision of services to children, families and other community members in the region
- Ensuring that children and families have reasonable access to quality services
- Ensuring that provincial policies and standards are followed in the region
- Monitoring and assessing the provision of child and family services
- Working with other CFSAs, public and private bodies, and government to coordinate services for children and families.
Become a Board Member
The Métis Settlements Child and Family Services Authority is looking for community-minded leaders to serve as board members.Do you have:
- Strong connections to your community and a willingness to participate in community activities?
- Sound judgment, expertise and a general understanding of Board operations?
- Sincere interest in the well-being of children, youth and families?
Members serve on a voluntary basis and receive a honourarium and reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses for required travel.
